Welcome to 6M!

I began my post secondary education in Ontario with a Bachelor of Arts (History) from Laurentian University. I then moved to Alberta and continued my education at The King's University College in Edmonton with my Bachelor of Education (elem).

My first job was with a rural Christian school in central Alberta where I lived and taught for 4 years. I then decided to leave the country for the big city of Calgary, where I substitute taught for CCS and other schools around the city for a year. I was blessed to join the CCS community full time in 2009. Since then I've taught Grade 4, Grade 5 and now Grade 6 at CCS.

In 2013 my husband and I were blessed with our first child and what a treasure our son has been in our lives!

I love hiking, camping, reading and spending time with family and friends.

This year I continue to find a balance between family and work and therefore have decided to continue my part-time position, however have increased my teaching time. I am excited to teach Grade 6!

I look forward to working with my students this year to develop their journeys of faith and need for the Lord’s direction in their lives.
